Also, any wigs that require excessive gluing or bonding can be potentially damaging. Synthetic bands in wigs can also cause problems, especially for those with sensitive skin. Clip-in U part units/wigs with wig clips placed in delicate areas of the scalp can pull on the hair, especially if slept in. You can run the risk of pulling vellus hairs and eventual thinning or in worse cases baldness in certain areas of the scalp.

It all depends on how you maintain the wig, how you store the wig when not being worn, how much daily wear and tear you’re putting on the wig, etc. All of our wigs come with a consultation where we will tell you the best way to care, treat, and maintain your wig. We offer a 10-month guarantee should anything happen to your wig that is not due to fault of your own. Our experts will access the wig and determine whether the damage accrued is covered within our warranty. Damages covered will consist of tracks becoming unwefted, band/clip replacement, or balding closure, frontal.

Please note if you request to have knots extremely bleached, we will not cover this. Though it looks extremely natural, over bleaching promotes hair loss and will shorten the longevity of your wig.

Absolutely, you can, though we suggest removal if possible. Should you decide not too, be sure to properly secure your wig if you are doing vigorous exercises. Also, having damp natural hair under a wig is not only extremely uncomfortable, but can also promote the growth of bacteria. The moisture mixed with body heat and extra warmth from the layer of wig can cause the growth of mildew and germs. Avoid leaving your hair wet from sweat after your workouts. Please properly dry your hair.

Absolutely not. However, if you are neglecting your hair needs and only focusing on the upkeep of your unit/wig you can very easily dry out your hair. If you start to notice your hair feeling dry after extended wears, to combat this, try using hair oils, moisturizers, or treatments to restore its moisture. This will ensure that your hair maintains nice and healthy throughout wig wear. We will give you a complete guide on how to healthily take care of your natural hair and maintain your wig during your initial consultation. Though wigs are a great investment and money saver in the long run, a custom unit/wig can get expensive as all of our services and add-on’s are à la carte. All units start at $400 and depending on the hair texture, you decide the amount of hair you want, if you desire color, specific cut, etc. It may become an expensive obsession if you are the type that likes to change your look frequently. Perhaps think about re-styling your wig rather than purchasing a new one every time – add some color and have it cut into a different shape. Also think about refurbishing old hair you may have from a previous extension/weave installs.
